The NBA is back! and in New York Carmelo Anthony is geared up for a some what full season with the New York Knicks. SandalTraveler.com got a special chance to get some questions answered from the All Star Forward. Hope you enjoy!

1. How was the transition from Denver To New York?

Carmelo: The transition went well, It was kinda like a breathe of fresh air. I didn't know what was going to happen and where i was going to end up, but once the opportunity came for me to become a Knick, The timing could not have been better.

2. How did you feel knowing that the whole season could have been in jeopardy?

Carmelo: It bothered me a lot knowing that we couldn't play. You had fans and season ticket holders upset waiting for us and the league to get a deal done. It killed the momentum we had coming off one of the best seasons last year. But now that we are back on, I would like to thank the fans for their patience.

3. Last summer you, Dwayne Wade and Chris Paul were part of the Jordan Flight tour in China, hitting cities like Beijing & Hangzhou. How was the experience heading back to China?

Carmelo: I saw more areas of China this time around, During the Olympics we stayed mostly in Beijing, but overall we had a lot of fun out there and the fans really embraced us. Each city we visited we gave fans the opportunity to interact with us, and we had them participate in various skills and shooting challenges to better there game of basketball. The sport has become so global now and kids out there know as much as kids over here in the states.

4. When its time for vacation, retreat and a piece of mind, where would people find Carmelo Anthony?

Carmelo: I would have to say Turks & Caicos, St. Kitts & Puerto Rico.

5. I got a chance to see your Basketball court in the La Perla area of Puerto Rico, its nice to see the kids have a place for fun and recreation. Will we see more courts popping up in the Caribbean?

Carmelo: I would love to have more courts set up elsewhere in the Caribbean, We actually just added a second court in Lomas and plan to build more in other parts of Puerto Rico.
